The TARS Fuzz and Filter pedal from Collision Devices: A sonic voyage that breaches the event horizon of guitar tone.

Based on the original Collision Devices' Black Hole Symmetry fuzz, the TARS delivers a dense fuzziness ready to tear a hole in any mix. Combine this with the MS-20 style filter, and you're wielding a cosmos of fuzzy, noisy textures, ready to shape interstellar sonic landscapes.

The Gain begins its journey post a JFET transistor input, before diving deep into the rich silicon gain and clipping stages. The Master dial controls the volume of your output. The CutOff fader guiders the cutoff frequency from a lowly 15Hz to an astronomical 44kHz, all based on the robust LM13700 stage. Twist the Resonance and amplify the signal's intensity surrounding the cutoff frequency.

The LPF VOL is your handy-dandy VCA, determining the output of the filter, ensuring your tonal galaxy is aligned with your setup. Choose your desired attenuation curve via the 2p/4p toggle switch. Whether you crave a gentle -12dB/octave (2p) drop or a steep descent at -24dB/octave (4p), it's all at your fingertips.

Looking to give your tone an extra-dimensional shift? The 'Add Fuzz' toggle allows an additional unfiltered fuzz signal, rocketing the volume and manipulating frequencies based on the cutoff's celestial position. The Serial toggle lets you decide if the fuzz journeys through the filter or if they soar side by side.

The Expression/CV input is synchronously tied to the cutoff fader, with the fader determining the range of the expression.

With the TARS, your tone is no longer bound by earthly confines.

  • Inspired by Black Hole Symmetry fuzz section.
  • MS-20 style filter for textured soundscapes.
  • CutOff fader ranges from 15Hz to 44kHz.

Taste and Quality are Excellent!
Flavor Name: Vanilla, Size: 30 Servings (Pack of 1)
Thorne has a reputation for high quality products so I thought I’d try this whey protein. It tastes really good! I find it easy to digest, and it dissolves easily. I plan to make this my go-to whey protein.

Definitely sweet but good mixed
Flavor Name: Vanilla, Size: 30 Servings (Pack of 1)
The vanilla would be too sweet on it's own for me but with strawberries and spinach it's perfect.

Horribly ‘weird’ sweet flavor
Flavor Name: Vanilla, Size: 30 Servings (Pack of 1)
Horrible taste - synthetic sweetness than destroys my shakes. I bought Thorne because of its high quality but this is one of their products that won’t work for me. I’m struggling through the jar because it’s too expensive to waste. Using cacao powder, cinnamon & cardamom to try to tone down the overwhelming ‘sweet.’

Absolutely Great Stuff
Flavor Name: Vanilla, Size: 30 Servings (Pack of 1)
The vanilla flavored Protein Powder has to be the Best tasting Protein Powder Ever. Literally delicious. Product satisfies your appetite while supplementing your body with needed protein and nutrients. Combined with gym workouts I’ve noticed firmer muscles. A nice noticeable improvement.

It's a thing...
Flavor Name: Vanilla, Size: 14 Servings (Pack of 1)
I am probably the most skeptical person when it comes to supplements. I’ve tried so many over the years and honestly… most of them felt like a waste of money or just hype. But I have to say—this combo has completely surprised me. I’ve been consistently using Thorne protein and creatine, and within a few weeks I started noticing real changes. Not just how I feel, but how I look. My shoulders especially are looking more defined, and I feel stronger in my workouts without feeling jittery or weird like some products can make you feel. What really stands out to me is how clean and simple it is. No bloating, no heavy feeling, no unnecessary extras—just something that actually supports what I’m already doing. I also love that it fits easily into my routine. I take my creatine with my morning coffee (super easy habit), and I’ve been doing a protein shake after workouts which has helped a lot with recovery and keeping me on track nutritionally. I’m currently in a calorie deficit getting ready for a trip, and this has honestly made it feel doable without feeling depleted. If you’re someone like me who is hesitant about supplements, I’d say this is the first time I’ve actually felt like something made a noticeable difference.
